Fethiye, the nearest town, is a buzzing centre; full of exciting narrow alley’s selling a variety of Turkish delights! There are many shops offering some excellent deals on leather goods, jewellery and carpets. The Ottoman style of architecture and ancient cobbled streets are a delight to browse around. The harbour area has many attractive pavement cafés so you can relax and enjoy a cold beer while you watch the Gulet’s cruising across the shimmering sea, and the small fishing boats bringing back the fish for the local market.
