Calis is just along the bay from Fethiye and boasts one of the most spectacular sunsets that you can find anywhere in the world. The promenade has many delightful restaurants and pavement cafes to enjoy.

As the sun goes down behind the island of Samanlik, there is nothing nicer than taking one of the local water taxis across the bay to Fethiye. Calis beach stretches for about 5kms and with clear seas offers good snorkelling and swimming.
